For accurate acidity testing please follow the instrucion below. 1. Take a 2ml sample of solution from the tank (not stock solution) in the phial provided. 2. Add 2 drops of reagent. 3. Shake the phial and compare the colour against the test strip to determine the acidity. 4. After use it is IMPORTANT to store reagent in a coool dark conditions. not in the greenhouse. N.B. The preferred acidity range is between 6.2 and 7.2, Pale orange on your test scale. Depending on the result of this test you may need to add "pH down" - phosphoric acid or "pH up" - potassium hydroxide to achieve the desired pH. For fine tuning the pH of the solution use Nutrieulture narrow range pH test 6.0 - 7.6. You can make the test even more economical by using just 1 mi of test solution and 1 drop of reagent. We suggest you do this only when you are familiar with the test and results.
